Reasons Why Your Spell Didn’t Work
You put all your components together, your sage, your crystals, your eye of newt. You draw the star excaxtly right and all the runes and sigils are correct. You mutter the evocations straight from the book, but the spell doesn’t go off. Why? Here are some possibilities.
Wrong Spell
You did a Spell, but it was for something else, so while you are waiting for the man of your dreams to fall in love with you, your sixth grade gym teacher has turned into a pig.
IKEA
You just threw the instructions to the side because how hard is it to cast a hex in a car mechanic? Follow the instructions.
Too Late
Sometimes when dealing with people or time, you waited until the last second, which turned out to be too late, and the spell just ends up dissipating.
It Did Work
The spell did work, but you were hoping for more. Just like the faith it takes to believe in God, a Spell can sometimes take different directions then what you had in mind. You wanted to curse, but instead of a face covered in boils, the cursed can’t find matching socks.
Out Of Order
Some spells just don’t work anymore. The mystical juice that runs through the set symbols that create the magic might have been weakened or forgotten.
Celestial Interference
Once in awhile, the Gods see it fit that we don’t get what we want and squash our spells before it is casted. Who know what goes through the minds of Gods.
There Is No Magic
Maybe there’s no such thing as magic.
